Describe (studio)
An artist who takes his musical mission very seriously, DeScribe awakens souls through his spiritual songs which rival radio hits with their catchy melodies, and his creative music videos have received over 100,000 views since they have premiered and he was featured on CBS as one of the most prominent artists in their documentary on "Faith, Music & Culture". The vibrant energy-driven rhythmic vibe of DeScribe is in a class & genre of its own. His unique combination of Hip Hop, Reggae, and R&B, form the vehicle for his pulsating, soul awakening music. His journey of darkness into light and his music and message brings his world view, guided by the the Chassidus and Wisdom of the Rebbe, to people around the globe waiting to have their souls awaken.

Matisyahu at Jones Beach Amphitheater
It's so great to be able to photograph a musician when you love their music!
Enjoy!
Scary picture of Stu Brooks on bass (although he is one of the nicest people)

Experiment #57
I had the privilege to photograph a Matisyahu show a few days ago in Jones Beach with fellow photog Ruvi Leider. After the show we were hanging out with Matis and crew outside his trailer. I pulled out my camera and flash for some experimental fun. Found a disco ball on the bus and got some amazing effects! Thoughts welcome :)
(I am interested in doing a night fashion shoot, somewhat similar to the above. Let me know if you would be interested.:)
Matisyahu live pictures coming real soon!

Trevor Hall - Central Park Summerstage
I had the honor of photographing Trevor Hall in Central Park. It was amazing, those of you who haven't heard his music, you must!
I met him backstage after his set, exchanged a few words and pictures.
(On the same bill was reggae legend Jimmy Cliff, photos to follow soon)
It was great to put a face to the picture and a soul to the music.
Listen to his incredible music below...
