Here are the digital photographs from the Matisyahu show I went to in Pennselvania. I posted earlier, the film photographs. I can't decide which I like better. :)
I drove down to Allentown PA with a couple friends to photograph Matisyahu. I brought along my film camera for kicks. I have never shot a concert with film so it was quite exciting to see the results. I was not too disappointed :)
Shot with a vintage Minolta and a 50mm 1.7 on ISO 3200 B&W film.
Trains fleet our cumbersome mind.
Unsure of where they must run.
Their conductor, manages unwillingly.
How must we catch something that we are running from?
We have let the race begin.
Allowed humanity to prevail.
Our mind left behind.
Skeletons molded from our sins.
Clouds evaporated from our tears.
If only we were to grab and render.
Control hearts and minds.
Balance difference.
For difference is true peace and unity.
Here is another recipe I put together one night, although I am not a chef I do enjoy cooking. I plug my Ipod into my Bose headphones and press shuffle, it's quite therapeutic.
(Although I wrote fresh rosemary, I didn't have any at the time and used dried, but I am sure fresh would be much better.)
